Feeling tired? Let's build some towers!!!

Hey everyone, its me Joel again. This episode, I will be bringing to you a small and little fun game. Have your ever wondered spaghetti and marshmallows can be used to build towers? Before we embark on making, lets take a look at the equipment we need for this game.

Things needed:

(Images taken from www.google.com)

20 spaghetti sticks
1 marshmallow
1 ball of string
1 tape

How to play?

Form a team of 4 and compete with the rest of the team. Its simple! Just used the given spaghetti sticks and build a tower that is as high as possible. Thereafter, stick the marshmallow on the top of the tower. Your tower must be able to stand for at least 5 minutes. If your tower topples, the team is disqualified.

Some pictures (Enjoy them :D)

My experience:

Its a fun and relaxing game. It requires a lot of teamwork and cooperation among the team. Most importantly, the team must strategize. This can lead to our studies. We must always embark on the correct strategy (Study Method) in order to achieve the results we want.

Hurry up, form your team and start playing!

(Have enough of this game already is it? Wait for my next episode ok?)

  1. I have played this before too! As a participant and as an observer. As a participant, i remember my team and i wanted to build the structure as tall as we can and it ended up that when we have to let go of the structure, the whole structure fell.

Learnt from this game that although it is great to aim high, a strong foundation is even more important to support the high structure!

At the end of the game... just feel like eating up the marshmallow ;) heehee

  3. Interesting game. Any reason for using spaghetti and marshmallows ...makes me hungry already. So you suggest some other materials for this game so that i won't feel so hungry

  4. Reason for using spaghetti: As u know spaghetti is thin, it is easy to build high towers. However, on the contrary, spaghetti is easy to break. This is to test the teams whether they are able to come up with a perfect strategy to prevent these spaghetti sticks from breaking.
